a question about lydia

Post » Mon Feb 04, 2013 12:02 pm

i just started a new game under the latest patch (1.8), and i choose Lydia as a companion, but i am wondering if Lydia levels up and worth keeping the whole game?

ive done some research on lydia but got some conflicting information, about her leveling and stuff.

Followers leveling up was fixed in a patch ages ago.

She should level up with you now.

You cannot directly look at, or ask for, a followers stats.

and according to UESP
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Followers
Followers are NOT affected by fortify weapon enchants.

You can attack her with a weak weapon and assess how much damage she takes

All Housecarls are worth keeping through the Whole game.. But if you want to be a Sneak character.. Get rid of any follower. Except Dark Brotherhood followers and Some of the Thieves guild

I'm pretty sure you can't get anybody from the TG as your follower.

I hear they are immortal. I don't even use followers anymore, they get lost way too easy.

I could, but I'm at that point in the game where I can handle myself without any effort.
