I have a bunch of them and don't know what to do with them (besides the obvious crafting). I'm on PS3 so I'm not sure if the DLCs aid in using them in various ways.

Your best bet besides crafting jewelry is selling them.

But you'll make more money crafting stuff with them then selling the ingots only, oh and i think there's a dragon priest mask that you need a gold ingot to upgrade it.

Also if you have Hearthfire you need a gold ingot to make an Arcane enchanter.

You can also stack them around in your house and feel rich.

I'm an old FO3 player...so, my advice is: Hoard everything.
