(I hope this is the right subforum in which to post this, I'm not sure. My apologies if I posted this in the wrong place.)

In an awesome act of lurve (and as a Valentine's gift), my husband got me Skyrim off Steam. We have it on Xbox (came free with it, we're not not that well off!) Now, finally, we don't have to fight over who gets to the controller first and thus wins Xbox rights.

What are the essential mods/tweaks you just can't do without on PC? The only other game I've played with mods was Fallout 3 (and that was a good long while ago) so I'm again completely unfamiliar with most popular choices. What are yours? Why would you recommend them? Where do you get them from?
Also, what are your must-always-remember console commands?
