Thanks for warning me, I vaguely remembered there was a catch to the Grey Prince's quest. I'll be nice and send him to his death with his self-respect intact 
I agree that every game felt like a slow progression, even if we lost some valued features in the process, the overall experience always felt smoother. Having said that, I can't actually imagine the game being simplified any further... I think if Bethesda chooses to streamline more features for the next game, it will need to be balanced by increasing the complexity in other ways, which I'm sure they will.
Morrowind was achingly beautiful. I still think about the towns and landscapes now: Sadrith Mora, Balmora, Vivec, Aldruhn were all so evocative in their different ways. Ok, I hated Vivec, but it was still evocative.


could have used a better magic system when it comes to things like destruction. Attributes are also starting to get missed as I play SKYRIM through the passing of years. It would also have been great to see enemies react to things like getting set on fire instead of just wailing away with their weapons as if they are doped up on some sort of battle narcotic numbing their senses.
