So i'm wearing the guild master's armor but for some reason i can't get it past exquisite even though my smithing is 80 and i have the arcane blacksmith added but i still can't get it past exquisite?

Does anyone know the requirements for this stuff?

My guess is that you need to level up your smithing more. It does more than just unlock perks.

Additionally, you can make and use Fortify Smithing potions, and/or make yourself a set of gear with the Fortify Smithing enchantment.
