So after playing the game since I purchased it this morning, I've compiled a list of certain things that are frustrating during gameplay. Figured if we compile an organized list, devs may be able to work on some of them for a future patch. Overall though the game is awesome. Lots of fun, especially with the smart system.
1. Bot configuration: So far, trying to play the campaign and challenges offline is very frustrating. The enemy team is usually fairly coordinated, which is good, but the problem is that our team usually piddles around until the final 30 seconds at which point they start a tiny push. Playing the resistance campaign isn't so bad, but when playing security, its dissappointing as I can't play the class that I am developing. I'm a medic, but since the bots do not complete objectives (no matter who I kill, revive or buff), I'm forced to play the main objective roles, otherwise I can't win. I was hearing in some interview today that this sort of thing can be tweaked, so if it can, please do. I simply want to be able to play support classes in campaign while still having the ability to win.
2. Context sensitive actions: These actions are not as sensitive as you would expect, and they also do not show up very quickly. Not sure if this was intended, but its frustrating as support classes trying to heal or revive and the game just won't allow me to quickly. I play a light medic and I would like to swoop in, heal a comrade and jump out before I'm slaughtered, but currently, its just not that smooth. I have to completely come to a dead stop and then continue on my way. Other c-sensitive objectives are unresponsive as well. Sometimes you try to plant or repair and it kind of dawdles a bit and then starts working. If this could be more crisp, it would make a world of difference.
3. The amount of time it takes to remove to hack device seems very short. It takes forever to go up, but then if you die, before you can ever make it back its already gone. It would be nice if it took enemy engineers slighlty longer to undo the hack progress.
4. Turrets: While I have no problem with turrets damage or scouting ability, I do have a problem with the cooldown time. It seems no matter how many we destroy, enemy engineers can put boatloads of these things up. It needs a longer cooldown to prevent spamming of these things. Especially when you haven't reached level 20 and so you don't have the operatives special grenade.
Those are the biggest concerns I have so far. Overall though, great game. Smart works extremely well and is very fun to work into the gameplay.
