I just wanted to post an update and say I had 2 matches that weren't unplayable with lag (there was still a little) and they were a blast. I don't want to jinx anything, but I wanted to give hope to those that are looking forward to playing this the way it should be played.

Although most of my matches have been lagging in extreme amounts, I have had the occasional match that is 100% lag-free. I feel comfortable saying that those lag-free matches make the struggling through lag matches worth it.

I agree. I really love this game. The few times I've played with zero lag have been fantastic. I love team based games and although the COD franchise was a blast for a while, I'm frankly sick of it. I'm not bashing the franchise, I'm just personally tired of it. BRINK has so much potential, but the lag issue is really killing this game in the reviews.

This is why a game with this much hype should have launched a public beta, so they could address these issues before release. I hope they fix the issues, and I really hope they will offer some quality DLC later on as well. This game is so much fun when it isn't lagging.

I've had a few moments in matches where it didn't lag really badly and it WAS amazing, I just hope the not-as-fanatic gaming group don't write this off as crap before they can fix it.

And I totally agree with specter se7en on DLC, even if it's just the pre-order stuff at first. I would really like to see more clothing options, weapons and weapon options. Maybe even multiple skins for each weapon

I agree on the lag free stuff. When I play with my six other buddies we never lag, but when I join Free-Play Public I sometimes just get unplayable lag and end up just trying for another game. When I find a game, I have such a blast. Buddies and I today had a slightly laggy match but played it regardless and we stomped the other team into the ground. It was a lot of fun, and if this game does have planned DLC (Come on, it has to have some planned DLC) I will be buying it Day One. Increased levels, with more apparel to unlock? I say yes!

Because of the lg, I've been playing solo, offline and enjoying it immensely. See no need or want to even attempt to play online now.
