I know I can simply drop the items and pretend they never happened, but I'm irked that the game doesn't seem to be respecting the Data Files selection from the launcher. I never ran the game before initially ticking CaravanPack.esm the first time; is it possible that the Caravan Pack data has somehow been merged into the main data file? I don't really want to uninstall/clean/reinstall to find out.

EDIT: Very briefly a message flashes up prior to the main menu coming up that says "Loading downloadable content. Please wait." So it seems the DLC for the Caravan Pack is being loaded via a different mechanism entirely and not respecting (or otherwise rendering irrelevant) the Data Files selection from the launcher.
Switching Steam to Offline mode got rid of that message but the game was still savvy to the presence of the Caravan Pack. It was listed under Downloadable Content (though the "View Available Content" normally appearing at the top of the DLC list was absent) and still loaded at the start of a new game. (Note that I did not delete the Caravan Pack files from the game's data directory; I don't want to go to that extreme just to get rid of items I can get rid of in the game if I must.)
It would be nice if one could disable (and reenable) DLC from that Downloadable Content menu or that there were any working official mechanism to selectively enable/disable DLC.
