After entering a casino they take you and your companions weapon. When I exited my companions weapon is stuck in my inventory making thempretty useless. Any ideas how to fix this?

I don't know how to fix it; just stating that I'm having the same problem.
I've even tried dropping the gun so he (Boone) can pick it up.
Instead of him picking it up it appears as if it's someone's and when I go to "steal" it, nothing happens.
And sadly, he won't pick it up either.
Even worse, I can't move it from my inventory to storage so it's stuck in my inv. if I plan to keep it.
