If siding with Mr. House....

At first I wanted to join NCR, now since reading several articles about how fractured and disfunctional they are, it seems that they may be unfit to rule Vegas in the long run. I don't think Slavers would do a good job, unless your an evil character... but I mean come on! Anyway I think I will go with Mr. House. But if I would do this what would be a good strategy? I saw in the one video that
Spoiler
Mr. House gives the player explosives, and I'm assuming thats to destroy Hoover Dam, and that wouldnt be a great loss because the Helios One plant provides more power
so I'm thinking to help house and manipulated the NCR and CL to destroy each other and then take care of the smaller factions.
Spoiler
After all... you do get a nice condo in House's casino. And that only leaves House at the end if I decide to be rid of him.

actually Vegas runs on the power from hoover damn, so if house wants to destroy it then he is out of his mind

maybe then he wants to blow the helios plant? it says on the fallout wiki that helios provides more power to vegas and some areas...maybe the hoover dam powers most of NCR operations?

Remember this though, we still have so many smaller factions in the mojave wasteland that we can side up with. Only time will tell who i'll be tagging along.

I'm sure he doesn't care one way or the other as to which of the two factions wins. As long as he can protect his interests and run New Vegas, he probably doesn't care who rules the surrounding lands.(then again the CL probably wouldn't like having a den of vice in their territory)

I doubt Mr. House would want either nearby, NCR acts like they run The Strip, and they also tend to take what they want. And Caesar wants you to kill Mr. House, so I cant see those two being buddies xD

I think what he wants is for both to continue their fighting else where and let off steam(not to much though) and fix their aches at his casinos. Or get them both to exhaust their supplies in the war and quit fighting and try to make some deals with House.

Mr. House would be more than happy to help as long as NCR gave control to the dam to him and CL's tribals become more civilized and spend their caps at his porch.

Well, I don't think the smaller factions impose much of a threat on House, if so there would be more concern. But we'll have to see what his thoughts are. But I'm sure a few mafiosos arent the biggest of his worries. The BOS are fighting the NCR from what I've read on the Fallout wiki and I was allies with them in FO3, but then again these Eastern Branch of BOS are a lot like the Out Casts so who knows if they even want anything to do with The strip, most likely just the surrounding area.

It would be fun to be in charge of vegas. you have never been able to really be in charge of anything. I wonder how that would work, especially with the game actually ending. Perhaps depending on what you do, it won't end?

Well true, Mr. House wouldn't care about a few smaller "Mafioso's" But... Mr. House should worry the most about The Courier, after all, he is in control of the turnout of the game, hahaha

I personally don't like gambling, although Gamorrah would end up being a nice place, I think I'll leave New vegas to house, or destroy him, or side with him, it depends, no solid answer until I see the game

Considering how NCR is the richest faction in the wasteland, it would be stupid for House to want to destroy them since he'll lose a ton of customers.
