new content to base game ?

new vegas had a lack of comabt i noticed , not may supermutants to mutants to fight or enclave obviously,. and not even a lot of ceasers leagion to fight on the map and when you side with the ncr you really don't have too many enemies other than creatures but definately a lack of human type enemies, so what i want to know is this. does the dlc add any type of new content at all to the base game, like spawning more enemies arouund the main map, a few more ceasers legion maybe, maybe some patrols of enemies to run into randomely?

Nope, I don't think it adds anything to the Mojave itself. Though it does add some new perks, available at various different levels, not just 30+

So if this add's nothing to the base game...whats the point? really all the dlc is...is a quest mod, so for us on the pc who can't get it, we really are not missing much cause there are lots of great mods for free, if it does come to pc I'm fairly certain I won't pay $10 for a quest.

Well, if you're on the PC, mods will undoubtedly come out that use DM resources. I mean, that was the only reason to buy Zeta after all.

Anyway, from what I'm hearing, DM seems more like it's a different and self-contained experience to NV vanilla. It certainly sounds interesting, and it adds some neat guns and armor and stuff.

In fact, if you're on the PC, there are already several mods that add more combat to the game, so a DLC "dungeons and raiders/muties/enclave" mod isn't as necessary for us as it would be for, say, the 360ers or PS3 guys.

It's a pretty great quest.

Wish the new stuff was added to the main game but DLC's are after all just a game within a game.
