Stuck at the villa fountain : Fallout: New Vegas

I "rounded up" the three companions, and had them meet me at the villa fountain.they are standing there....but the hologram guy keeps telling me to GET the three people and bring them to the fountain.Am I missing something or is it a glitch.Already restarted once and replayed up to the same point.can't get dog/god to talk to me.Anyone have this problem? (XBOX 360 )...now I just tried to restart a previous save and game froze to a black screen.when I try to shut down and go to main menu options it freezes also......way to go Obsidian....doesn't anyone test the game? Oh and you can't call it an open world game if I can't even climb onto a small boulder!!!!!

Did you try releasing whichever companion you had before talking to Elijah? Or keeping one with you? I would have just recruited and un-recruited them a bunch of times to see if that helped. I'm at the same part and have been given my next instructions, so it does work, something might be glitched with your play-through however. In order I did this:

- Got (and kept with me the whole time) Dog
- Went and got Dean (told him to come with me, he said I already had someone with me so he'd just meet me at the fountain, told me to take the shortcut through the cloud)
- Went and got What's her face, told her to meet me at the fountain after she finally agreed to come with, she came back for a second to tell me about the speakers).
- Went to the Fountain, and with DOG, spoke to Elijah, who explained part 2 of the whole thing.

tried that.....couldn't talk to dog. Re-downloaded Dead money with a new update (wed A.M.) Now XP cap is working.Restarted prior to going into BOS bunker,figured out the tricky glitch.It has to be god thats let out not dog.
