First off I wanted to say that I downloaded the update right when i started the game today.

I go to downloadable content then click fallout new vegas - dead money and nothing happens. am i doing something wrong? do i have to go continue an existing game? i'm really at a lost.

To play Dead Money, load a save game from the main game at any point prior to the final battle. You'll get a pop-up telling you where to go.
