No, I haven't seen it, but it looks okay... as a 'Saturday-morning' type of horror-adventure.

I haven't seen it yet, so I won't make a judgement untill I do, but I have heard many bad reviews of it, unlike the 'Call of Cthulhu' movie by the HPLS which I've seen and think is brilliant.

I found it to be rubbish, honestly. The movie basically seemed to be about the main character's struggle with his sixual proclivities and the problems that caused in his personal and family life. The Lovecraftian elements really seemed to take second stage to that main point of tension (his dad was a priest of the old ones and hated his homosixuality or somesuch, for some reason). It could have been a good movie, but other than a few particular scenes, I didn't find it to have any redeeming qualities.

In the commentary, the Director and Producer said themselves that it could have been a lot better and admitted that they tried doing too much for their first-ever feature.
