Odd question

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 1:30 pm

This will sound like a very odd question to most but it is something that irks me a great deal when playing RPG's.

Simply put, do arrows fired from bows/crossbows stick out of bodies when fired at them in this game? For me there is nothing more annoying or dissapointing than when as a rogue character you fire an arrow at an enemy and when you hit them the arrow magically dissapears into thing air and svcks all the realism out of your combat. I know its probably done for graphic/performance reasons on games but its just a small quirk of mine alone probably!!!

Hunted looks like it has great potential, but none of the trailers have really clarified my own question on this.

Thanks for any info anyone can provide on this!!

And if anyone is thinking "my god thats an odd question" dont worry, its me not you that has the problem

Good to know, thanks a lot for confirmation.

The arrows will stick in your opponents, and enemy fire will stick to your shield. There's actually animations where your player will chop the arrows off with their sword.

This is definitely a plus in my book. The disappearing arrows has always been something that was a minor annoyance for me in most RPGs.
