Will there be an option to use dual screen output in place of split screen on the PC?

has it been confirmed that PC won't get split screen?

That's not really my point, pc will probably have split screen too but i'd rather do dual screen output rather than crowd in front of a monitor.

Splitscreen is only on PS3 and Xbox 360. To play co-op with a friend on PC, you'll need to connect online or through a LAN connection.

i guessed so FYI - we, PC users, DO get to play split screen if it's possible. its really rare but once a local off-line co-op game comes out me and my friends GET it. did so with BLUR and Split\Second and Left 4 dead and so on.
i really want to play this game with my room mate but sadly i see i wont be able to.

thats stupid!! i had spent almost $1800 on my PC, have a big screen monitor and 4 gaming pads, I want to play all coop mode games with my girlfriend or my little brother on a splitscreen just like any other dude who spent $300 on his console!! but with much much better graphics and framerate...is that asking too much??????????? What do they have that we don't??? I know you guys are not the only ones, but this COOP thing for PC is BS!

i share the anger, my friend. i have a large screen for my PC and was really eager playing this co-op with my girl. sadly i guess i'll have to wait and see how Fable 3 and Duneon siege 3 will tun up coop wise. if they will both have local coop than hunted wont be a purchase.
i need more local coop games. it is a bit of a hassle to mod portal 2 to play coop split screen on the PC but at least its possible so im happy. i wish that there will be some code left overs in Hunted and maaayyyyyybe there will be a way to foce split screen coop in hunted as well.
