The A within the O stands for Anarchy Order. Anarchy is coined to sound like a bad term, with riots, killing, looting, etc. But, by definition, it just means that there is no government. Personally, I am an anracho-communist. It means that I am against authority, ie no governments, military, police forces, corporations, etc. The communist part is the everyone is treated equally and has a pretty much equal share in everything and works equally, and is treated equally. This is pretty much the perfect society imo, but I see that it's not a real possibility. The AO, or Anarchy symbol, in the games logo/banner is just saying that there is people (and mutants) running wild killing each other, while getting extremely pissed, lol.
