Chucks Object Editing Pallets

Post » Sun Feb 06, 2011 10:21 pm

I've spent the last few days preparing to start a new mod. I've ben setting up my Object editing pallets and, I thought i would share my efforts with anyone who was interested.

As of now I have 78 individual pallets. Some are as simple as a "one stop shop for clocks", others are complete tile sets for Office room, hall, pitt, the lucky 38 and so on.

Some are named using Obsidians namingconvention because, I haven't found the locations there used for in the game yet.

I will be refining and updating as I begin to mod the game.

hope this help and, have fun

OK,

My OCD kicked in! Now the object editing pallet count is up to 135, every time I tried to quit I would find something new. There are tones of new tile sets to explore and, play with. I've tried to group them in usable ways but, I'm sure these pallets still need some tweaking.

I'm quitting for the night as, my eyes are starting to bleed from digging through forms lists. :brokencomputer:

have fun

Your welcome,

I was doing this for myself but, thought other people might want them. Some of the pallets may need to be merged together, others you may want to rename and, add to. Every time I found a new tile set I started a new list. I've also tried to put together some useful clutter and, static lists.

feel free to use these lists as you see fit, add to them, redistribute them, rename them. This is just my preliminary work to get moving on the "NVInteriors Project".

since we didn't get Obsidians pallets I figured I'd share my efforts.

again, have fun.

I started a couple opal files when I started my new mod for NV, I did make quite a few for my FO3 stuff so I know you have spent a good deal of your time in making these. And it's really cool your sharing, even though Obsidian has been way to quiet with us so far, and god I hope that changes soon.

Yep, I spent all of last night on this and, I started again at 7am until 7pm today. :brokencomputer:

By the time they decide to share I most likely won't care. Some of my pallets have names like NVGSGSRoom because, there simply retextured office room tile sets but, I haven't found them in game yet so, I didn't know how to give them a proper name for easy access. I used there naming convention!

I'm trying my best not to spoil the game for myself. :toughninja: Therefore, I'm not looking at cells I haven't played but, I have felt free to dig through the forms lists and dig through places I've already ben.

any pallet you see with the ending of, Pitt, Hall or, Room is a different type of tile set.

Your completely welcome, :)

I've built some redundancy into the lists, if your cluttering a house, kitchen or, office, you won't have to switch pallets because they will share many of the same assets.

as I've said, I was doing this to benefit my own project but, thought others might find them useful. Feel free to start with these lists, run with them add to them or, rename them. If you want even redistribute your altered versions. I may grab your changes myself. B)

This is only meant to be a community based resource and, is a work in progress! Since we didn't get proper pallets with the new GECK, where to start?
