INTRODUCTION

Are you interested in socializing with Brink players your age but haven't been able to "weed out" all the adolescent players? Have you been unable to join traditional, time-consuming clans because, being responsible advlt, you have had to juggle your free time with going to college, taking care of children, or being employed in a full time job? In short, are you interested in an online experience akin to "shooting the bull" with a group of drinking buddies? If so, then the Brink Gunslingers is the right place for you!

MEMBERSHIP

We are fortunate to have over 2,150 advlts registered on our homepage, and a Brink Contacts Master List that is growing by the day.
We have a large collection of parents. And we have the large collection of the working men (and women) members.

If you would like to join the club, you need only to fulfill two things:

Be at least 18 years of age or older.
Register your membership at our forum: http://www.gunslingergaming.com/phpbb

That's it! We don't ask for resumes, kill/death ratios, probation periods, or any other sort of silliness. You just want to have fun, right? So do we! GUIDELINES

We like to ascribe the Gunslinger experience akin to having drinks with some buds after work or partying with them on the weekends. Nothing stops the music faster than a few knuckleheads, so we do have a few guidelines we expect people to follow during their stay:

pormographic and/or obscene material is prohibited.
Self promotion by new members will likely be treated as spam. This includes promotion of own non-commercial websites.
No personal attacks on other members or various sorts of offensive behavior is allowed.
No glitching/hacking/cheating. We define such as purposefully accessing the game's programming or abusing a flaw in the programming to achieve an act or status that is not intended or possible otherwise.

Gunslingers has members from all over the world, with a growing Euro/UK population.

I'm UK myself and have not had issues finding people to game with. There is pretty much always some people online.

It's Friday the 13th. Of course, that must mean you are avoiding paths in which you would cross black cats, opting not to walk under ladders (which is really sound advice on any day of the week), declining any offers of breaking mirrors (yes, we know. They were asking for it.), or any other activities that may bring about bad luck on the day of the year already with an overcast of ill will. All these preventive measures sound like the ideal time to grab some brews or your favorite bottle of wine and game some rounds of Brink with fellow advlts in the Gunslinger tradition of FROSTY PINTS!

We welcome you to join in on the premiere event here at Gunslingers entitled Frosty Pints!

Crack open your favorite brew, stop by the GS Chats and connect with fellow members for some drunken gaming fun. Going strong since 2008, Frosty Pints is a particularly great time for new members to meet other Gunslingers and to swap gamertags.

Frosty Pints takes place on Friday and Saturday evenings, which actually means all day Friday and Saturday due to having members from time zones across the globe. (Quite the bender, huh!?) The busiest times tend to be from 3:00pm PST and on.

Gunslinger Newsletter for Week of 5/16/2011

Today marks a new week, and another round of punching into those time clocks and working towards paychecks, free time, and, of course, gaming. The clan designed to bring together fellow parents and hard working advlts in a manner exclusively on their own time table for gaming has the following updates to share with everyone:

*New Arcade Game - GS installs a new selection in our ever expanding library of games featured in our custom arcade every week, and we have delved deep into our video gaming past by adding the Commodore 64 gem, Delta, to the Gunslinger Arcade! While the boss isn't looking, aim for the high score by shooting down waves of enemy spaceships in this side scrolling classic from 1987.

*The Horrible Horror Film Club - As we have announced last week, the Gunslingers have its own Theater Chat in which members can chat to their fellow GSers while watching streamed movies at gunslingergaming.com. With this new feature, a new tradition is born. There are plenty of terrible yet grossly amusing horror and science fiction films of the vintage nature. Why not have a little fun with it? That is why a "new" horror or science fiction film of the vintage nature will be added weekly for the enjoyment of Gunslinger members. Feel free to talk (or mock) these films in the Movie section of the Gunslinger forums as part of the Horrible Horror Film Club. It seemed only appropriate to start things off with adding They Saved Hitler's Brain!

*Countdown to GS 4 Year Anniversary - This June marks the 4 year anniversary of the Gunslinger clan, so we are all counting down to the celebration. We have grown quite a bit since our conception back in 2007 (growing faster than any other clan out there), and we have some exciting news, events, and (yes) even prizes in store for GS members during the anniversary festivities!

Of course, all the above are additions to what the Gunslingers are about, which is to bring together kickback advlts for some fun, uncomplicated rounds of Brink on the Xbox360. Before I even et started reading this, let me just say that I am 17 years old and CEO of my own non-profit business. I, more than pretty much all other teenagers, know about hard work. And, being my age I am closer to an advlt than a child.

Here's proff of what I do, if you search enough, you'll see my face, page, and business associate. I am more than mature enough to roll with the big guys, and am interested in a good, hardworking, official clan that is flexible with my schedule (as I have a business, school work, and chores as well as extra-curricular activities.)

One Question What Region is this clan around i don't wanna play with people from UK all day long cause I'm from Canada and its gonna end up being LAGGY. wouldn't want that =/ im actuly 21 so I'm obviously of age and i like having a blast il check out the site and probably end up applying I'm kinda new to the whole clan thing so I'm hoping il have a friendly bunch to play with Cheers =]
edit: Just scopped out the site apparently you guys are from UK sadly =/ oh well guess il have to look for something else

Thanks for your interest in the Gunslingers, Lost Faith. I am not too sure what on http://www.gunslingergaming.com encouraged the impression that we are primarily a UK based clan. Actually, you will be relieved to know that clan was founded in North America; specifically, California. The current demographic of our Brink faction is as follows:

73% from North America
20% from Europe
7% from Australian/New Zealand Region
2% from Chile

Our Master List for Brink includes national flags next to all of the members' names to help GSers add first the people most suitable to their own gaming wants. We do strive to provide a home for all casual, mature advlt gamers, regardless of the region of the world they should reside. We do so not only because we wish to be welcoming to folks of all walks of earth, but because it helps build a clan that is active around the clock.
