So... we can't even try to uninstall/reinstall?

Is that some kind of Steam joke?

I want to try a reinstall because I'm having so many crash problems.

Uninstall the game from menu and literally nothing is deleted. Manually delete it and it's gone but then trying to reinstall from the DVD gives an error and shuts down. Like really?

No, I dumped all Steam's [censored] to a secondary drive because I'm not a derp. That's entirely beside the point.

There's no way to even attempt an uninstall/reinstall, and if you try and force it you've [censored] the game completely. This is why people have raged at Steam since 03.

I can reinstall and delete/uninstall all my steamgames without issue. Reinstall/repair is located under Properties -> Verify Gamecache Integrity. To uninstall just use Delete Local Files. Besides the crashes are most likely not related to your install but to the game engine that's a piece of trash.

i have this problem too, and i can't delete the local game content through Steam. it just doesn't happen. i verefy the game cahce, and it says everything's fine, EVEn if i take files out or move them or delete them, i did it to the .exe to try resolving my primary issue (the game doesn't even START), and steam still says everything's fine
