Character changes appearence when playing online or campain?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 5:46 am

alright so my cousin and i just bought brink and we both thought it was amazing when playing solo campaign so we decided to play co-op together so we can see each others characters appearance. When i met up with him in campaign mode we both described to each other how we created our character and it did not match up at all so we probably thought that was just for campaign its fine so when then decided to go try it on a public match to see if it would match up and it did not at all again, has anyone else came across this problem yet? really frustrating that i cant showoff my character cool outfit

You guys realize that you have to make a Security and a Resistance model, right?

It still doesn't change the fact that my character changes his appearance on free play and co-op campaign

Why doesn't it? You don't get to use your Security model during a Resistance campaign mission and vice versa. In other words, go back and change your other model, this isn't a bug.

You guys do realize when he says to make a Security AND Resistance outfit, he doesn't mean to make TWO separate characters. When you go to the Appearance options, you can click on the button at the top right hand corner and edit your current character's Security and Resistance outfit. It's one character, two factions. Check it out.

it will change during gameplay usually after your first death. it just needs extra time to load on each others console. After you die you will see your character. I know its lame.

No, this is an actual bug. I have the 3rd person ability when completing an objective and I will look at my character and ti will be completely different. Hopefully soon it will be patched.

Can confirm this isn't an isolated thing, happened to me too. I have my character customized for both security and resistance and when I played a campaign chapter with my friend neither his character nor mine looked like what they were supposed to. However after a while they did change to what they were supposed to be.

BUT then we went and did a Mission for the other side, same thing happened. We assumed that after a while they would just switch to how they were supposed to be, they didn't. Did the mission fallowing that, same thing, didn't change back there either.
