the point was that i spent 60 dollars for vegas, waited 7 months and its still broken.

then i went ahead and purchased this game for 60 dollars in hopes that vegas was a minor "hiccup".

IT WAS NOT.

Must be nice to be this ignorant.

Look up the differences between publishers and developers, then try again.

must be nice to have tons of money to throw everywhere and not care if you get what you paid for. What would you call that....oh yeah .... ignorant.

All of these developers are in bed with one another, and the quality of their games is lacking. ZeniMax is the parent company and oversees the internal quality of its games. Check this out if you would like to become less "ignorant"

Uh. That has something to do with what I posted, I'm sure. Somewhere. Somehow.

Bethesda/ZeniMax had nothing to do with the internal development of Brink. That's Splash Damage. Splash Damage sought funding to further their pet project. Bethesda/ZeniMax agreed to be such.

Likewise, the Fallout team is just one branch of Bethesda/ZeniMax, and thus do their own internal development and testing.

But, y'know. Making blanket statements is the cool thing to do on the internet because it's easier than doing research and making an educated response. Just because you're butthurt you spent money on something that, had you have waited before making your purchase, you would of seen just hours after release (in Brink's case) that there were multiple problems with the game, therein again not doing research and being ignorant. Ignorance doesn't necessarily have to be an insult, for the record... unless of course you read into it as such. In this 'special' case though, I wouldn't necessarily be too proud of the ignorance.

I would tell you to lay blame where it's due, but you likely don't care since you feel you've been gravely slighted "FOR THE LAST TIME!!!111!". So, keep reaching for that rainbow.

(Oh, and I'd look up the definition of ignorant while we're on the subject, because I don't think you quiiiiite understand the word.)

I would definitely agree with you there.

Yeah, hold onto your mild attempts at cynicism for your life partner. If you really would like to turn a blind eye to the failure of two major games in a row that were developed under the ZeniMax banner, then I'm afraid you are ignorant. Yes I looked it up. True, my consumerism got the best of me in that I did not wait to see what troubles the game may have had, however, laying "blanket" statements seems oddly appropriate when the developer is snuggled up under ZeniMax's covers. Continue on your path of defense for those who have wronged you and your fellow consumers.

Neither game has problems for me, except for the 8v8 in Brink, which I don't like anyway because it's a spam fest. Maybe you're doing something wrong on your end, but over here everything is dandy and perfect. Are you on PC or Xbox?

Also, don't get so mad over a game! One of the best quotes of all time is "Don't ever let something that makes you happy make you sad". It's just a game, it's meant to be fun and relaxing. If you stress over it and nit-pick every little flaw and problem, you will never be happy with it, no matter what. Just go with it and be happy, the only thing that's preventing you from having fun with Brink is yourself.

i have a hard time believeing that people are so content with this game..it is truely broken..the campaign took me about 6hrs to complete which isnt bad thats a decent amount of play time..but then i went to play online and its the exact same game again...really how can anyone be ok with that? the graphics are pretty decent as long as you are real close to what ever it is you are looking at other wise the render is very very bland with 0 textures..now give it about 10 seconds and it will build textures but really..every time i walk thru any part of the game world i have to watch it bein built every time? im not saying the game doesnt have a great foundation but thats all this game is..a foundation of what we were shown in videos...subtle changes were made even from the videos on the website..like the command wheel i remember seeing a video that had xp numbers beside ever objective..primarys were worth more than secondarys..now i know every game gets changed at close to release and thats fine but if something that simple was removed what else was removed?..game lobbys?..they also said at one point that there would be a game world and not maps..areas kinda like borderlands..3 areas security zone..a Neutral zone and a resistance zone and it would be an ever changing game world with constant battle goin on...i have been watching this game for nearly 2yrs and i also preordered it last april..one last thing before anyone says it was "Rushed Out" it was delayed almost a full year and pushed back..it was first suppose to relase the holiday season of 2010 then was moved to feb 7 2011..then to late march...then to mid april..then to mid may..so it wasnt really rushed ..we were just handed a game that will be heavily dependent on DLC..
