Called tech support just to try and find out if anybody had posed my question to them. Basically my issue is that the game looks much smoother and has rendered better textures on my friends older tv than it is on my newer one. He noticed this first when he played it on a friends tv, then on his at home. Then I told him my issue and he said it was what he witnessed at first. Now, I'm aware tvs are different, but as far as rendering the textures of the game, a tv shouldn't change that. Correct me if I'm wrong but it means that's either the xbox or the game, and seeing as this is the first time, ever, that i've had this issue, i'm gonna vote it's not my xbox. I can only compare it to playing the same game on 2 different computers, one being better one being worse. That's the difference I am seeing between our two tv sets. So when I called the guy was nice enough, but seemed to be prepared to stonewall my questions/complaints and I felt he was reading lines off a piece of paper as the generic response. "All tvs are different blah blah" "This is a matter of opinion, not a tech support issue so we can't really help you" etc etc. The admin on the site also said he thought this was a matter of subjectivity to me in a message.
Look, I'm aware the game has issues, but across the board every console user should have those same issues. So why isn't my friend experiencing this issue on his console/tv setup. Why is it he can confirm that he's witnessed this happen and yet they're acting like it's us being picky.
