So I've had ED-E for a bit and I was wondering if anyone could point me into the direction of where to find his mission. I've looked here and there but had no luck. I kind of just want to dump him off, he's not all that great besides the perk he gives you.

Not sure what your asking. Are you asking for the mission to unlock what he knows or information he is carrying? If so I am wondering that myself, there is not a single location icon to even give where to go not even a hint.

Unless you have to track down the Enclave or an ex enclave member to find out.

ED-E works on things people around it say, and sometimes randomly starts remembering its recorded purpose. You'll hear a voice recording that, after a while, will prompt the quest to start or advance. Helps taking any kind of job or exploring every place that is related to technology and science.
