Two Conflicts?

Post » Thu Mar 03, 2011 12:48 am

According to the description on Honest Hearts provided by Bethesda: "As you try to find a way back to the Mojave, you become embroiled in a war between tribes and a conflict between a New Canaanite missionary and the mysterious Burned Man." That means there are perhaps two, distinct conflicts in Honest Hearts? I'm guessing the achievements for Honest Hearts apply to the war between the tribes, but how is Joshua Grahman and the New Canaanite missionary involved in all of this. Also, when do you think the trailer will be released?

I know Mr. Graham is the Burned Man, but I'm curious about this 2nd conflict in HH, why would the Burned Man be fighting the New Canaanite Missionary and NOT raising an army to get his revenge on Caesar? I mean he could be raising an army to fight the missionary, but it also begs the question of what does this conflict have to do with the first conflict (the tribals) and the storyline overall

Daniel is already known to be an important member of a tribe called the Sorrows, so i don't think he is the Mormon missionary. But hey, you never know

Sounds like you will be able to make everyone win like in the main game. Its fine for a dlc, but I don t like it for the main game.

You ll be able to make a choice, but there really will not be a consequence. I just hope they put some nasty enemies in there.

I want to hang out with the burned man too.......... see what his story is.

http://images.wikia.com/fallout/images/c/c2/Cheevo-5.png for "Restore Our Fortunes" has somebody who looks an awful lot like a missionary, with the caption "Resupply Daniel and the Sorrows."

So if you ask me, Daniel is a missionary, but that doesn't mean he can't be part of the Sorrows as well.

I think we already know a lot about his back story, we just don't know his involvement in New Canaan

i have a decent theory. In the achievements it says to resupply daniel and the sorrows, well it also says to crush another tribe called the White Legs. So possibly the burned man could be involved with either tribe and you are either to work with him and daniel to crush them or work with daniel and crush the White Legs and the burned man

I also have a theory. You know how in the screenshot of Joshua Graham he is shown putting together M1911? I think that the Courier will have to get supplies to ressuply the Sorrows with from Joshua Graham. Just a possibility

That's plausible, though it begs the question as to why he is stock piling weapons

Maybe he knows about the battle with Ulysses and will help?
