I searched the nexus but didn't see anything for NV. I was wondering if there were any mods or mod packs containing necklaces. I'm basically looking for plain silver or gold chains, having pendants attached would be cool too.

I'd like to see this as well...Luchaire made some for Oblivion that were awesome, covered the neck seam. Hope someone jumps on it.

The problem with adding this to NV is that the engine doesn't support adding necklaces by themselves. You would have to add full outfits with necklaces on them.

Actually, it's totally possible. FO3 had mods that added necklaces and all sorts of different armor addons. This is possible because there are more slots for clothing items like BodyAddon1, etc. I think it's leftover stuff from Oblivion. Check out Tailor Maid on NVNexus.

It also seems like the necklace items that were ported over from FO3 into NV got deleted... :/ I can't find them anymore. I guess they were deleted due to credit issues.

What was the name of the one that was deleted? The one with body jewellry? I remember seeing one with belly button rings but never downloaded it. Necklaces and bracelets are all I use.

The necklaces in FO3 were made by Kikai. From what I understand (and remember) from back in our early Oblivion days she created the meshes originally and other mods were made from them. Other modders based theirs off hers. It was very rare to see a necklace/choker/jewellry mod without her being credited.
That's just the way I remember it being. There was another modder who may've made her own but that was before my time.

The engine definitely supports this. There are plenty of slots that most outfits don't use.

There was a mod that had a fully working necklaces but it was removed (it used content from a lot of other mods and had dependencies in some of the Pre-order DLCs) , i have it here, the Mysterious Stranger Outfit
