Very low performance with gtx 470

My specs.

I have a Intel 975

3 GTX 470's 2 disabled because it LOWERS performance to have a 2nd gpu (and 3rd). Thats right its 2010 and still new games don't use sli. Porbably because bethesda used an old engine.

Nvidia WHQL 260.89 drivers

8GB of ram

A bluray burner (I'm listing everything in computer)

An PCI-E SSD (but running on a mechanical hdd makes no diffrence on my 640GB windows 7 64bit hdd)

Windows 7 64bit.

ps2 mouse and keyboard (no usb polling issues like fear has with logitec)
Directx web install

And when in a fight with an npc (not creature) on MINIMUM LOW I get less than 10 fps. On maximum high the
Spoiler
convict area and gunfight in the first town
I get 10fps.
Outside I get 40 fps when not near npc. When not near creature or npc I get 120 fps (120hz monitor)
I want my money back. Obliviously bethesda didn't test anything. Or things like this would never happen.
Now I have to wait for an UNPAID modder to fix what they couldn''t (fose + stutter remover) because they are unable to do anything as good as untrained modders without access to tools. You mad, I'm mad.

With mass effect 2 + all 3 sli I get an UPWARDS of 400 fps on max. Bioshock 1 I get an upwards of 700 depending where I am. Every game in the world runs silky smooth exept any run with gamebryo. Why, because bethesda doesn't care about us. In fact they will drop all support 6 months from now EVEN if the last patch breaks quad core compatibility. Just like FO3. Quote me on this.

My face why standard html isn't parsing in this forum I do not know.

I must admit that such a huge issue was not fixed yet they still shipped it. I am really dissapointed.

Don't you think that might be a Nvidia issue? Guess what? Thats one of the downsides of going multi-gpu. Thats why I wouldn't touch crossfire or SLI. Don't blame the developers for driver issues.

There are also issues on Nvidia cards. Nehrim ran like crap for me recently too.

Thats why 2 are disabled.
But bioshock in 2006 does sli perficlly and linearly (even though a PIII and a 8600+ will max it lol)
What drivers are the best for this.
I don't want the melting card driver though. (don't know if it was a troll or not. Too scared to risk it.)

Bioshock isn't even the same engine, what does that have to do with anything? Nvidia has had issues with FO3 for a while but I thought that they were fixed.

You also have a card based off a really new architecture which means you can't roll back to drivers that I know for a fact work well with FO3. It's the downside of being an "enthusiast" of owning bleeding edge hardware.

Send a report to Nvidia. I know that I wouldn't be happy if I bought a new card and while drivers were still immature they go more than 3 months without releasing a WHQL driver.

What drivers worked best.
I think even frame buffer mode would be an improvment.

Also sent. THNX for the idea.

But even though its not the same engnin think :an older game supports newer hardware better than one released yesterday. In fact it had dx10, this only has dx9.
Some developers just are better than others. Morrowin was the. best. game. ever. and every product bethesda sells I buy no madder what. Because I need another fix of morrowin (or oblivion, that one wasn't that bad; sept morrowin supported my hardware better even though its waaaaaay older)

The engine is the problem. I'd kill for the next fallout to be..... how do you say... UNREAL. :)
