Choppy/Laggy from the get go

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 5:39 am

Hey guys, I know there is quite a bit of information popping up concerning choppy frames, lag, and in some cases freezing across all platforms. I'm only a couple of hours in and I've had to stop playing because i want to wait until this is patched up so I can get involved in the immersion. Who else is experiencing this problem? Anyone have any educated guesses on how long I could be waiting on a patch/bug fix?

Cheers

I'm sorry you're experiencing this, and you're not the only one. Lots of people are.

They are currently looking into the problem, and hope to release patches for it soon, but currently no word on when.

I do have an idea on what might help. Please look up my "We can do this!" thread in this forum for that information.

I am glad I am not the only one around that is having the same problems. I don't like to [censored] and I think the powers that be have heard us all and got a ton of geek working on a fix 24/7.

i too have postponed my playing until the patch. The only time frame i can estimate is a week and a half. I say this because when fallout 3 came out with much of these errors, the patch came out appr. 10 days later. I also thought a patch might be out by Oct. 22 because on that date fallout new vegas will be released to europe. you would think they would have some bugs reduced before that...i think thats best case senerio... hope it helps

I'm actually embaressed to ask this but if you bought the game already and they release a patch does this means it gets fixed for us too? like an update with the ps network idk?

I'm noob at this stuff and i really want to know because i haven't found any glitches yet but my game also always freezes and laggs.

thanks

Thanks guys, good to know we're in this together! It is mainly the framerates that are getting me down the most aye... I don't know much about scripting but are frame issues easier to patch? Or even patchable at all?
