I'm waiting to to purchase this game but from reading the forums for both pc and PS3 seems like both platforms having problems. Just wonder if both systems are having the exasct same issues across the board?

i am forced to wait until the end of november. i am hoping they release a patch for the PS3 before then. cause i have been waiting for this game for awhile now. even though i have not beaten Fallout 3 plus all the DLC yet i still want to play this game with a passion. I have seen my friends statuses on yahoo messenger light up all day saying they are playing it and it making me antsy to play it. But i can not afford it until the end of of november sadly they said they are working on a patch for all platforms and that was yesterday so i would imagine it would be out within a couple of weeks i would think. it just has to pass microsoft testing and sony testing for the release.

Snakes please don't get it until the patch comes out.I have the game myself 4 the PS3 and it has terrible issue's.Here is just a few:Hitching,Lagging/Map Rendering Glitches,Dialogue issues,CRASHING.So please just stay on the safe side until then because right now It's me and 10 other people fighting against bethesda right now.We will never get a better game unless people around the globe start speaking up.So please spread the word that the game has major "STABILITY ISSUES" and to tell people not to buy it until the patch.I am not kidding it is that bad.LOL

I have it for ps3. The lag is horrible. Fractions your on good terms with attacking you. I love fallout 3 and oblivion but this one is making me rethink buying any more of their crap.

what more do you want? they are working on a patch. patience... i suggest waiting for the patch as well, however, bickering to bethesda will go nowhere... they are aware and are in motion.

Im on PS3, there are major issues. It says there 3 testers went along the main story line. Thats all good and great if you had more main quest then extra. I been playing the side quest and have had nothing but issues. Veronica stopped following me but I still hear her like she is next to me. The rendering cant keep up and im standing still. Pip boy sometimes will not come up. Vats sometimes doesn't respond, even after hitting the button ten times. Even now as im typing and its show a 3rd person view of my guy with the camera going around, its lagging. This is stupid. Im about to delete my save games, put this on the shelf and just wait for fix's. Oh ps, I'll never buy another game with the name Bethseda or Obsidian on it. I should have known better with names like that! Damn terrorist.

the impatience and anger stems from F3. yes, they released patches for the PS3 version of F3 but it still froze especially when the save files goes beyond 10mb for th GoTY edition. they did not fix the freezing. now, we have FNV, 2 years after the release of F3 and we still have the same problem. in fact, GStaff gave the same message about a patch coming for F3 for FNV with the game name swapped (which I thought was kinda funny). yes, bickering probably won't do much but the reality is patches will fix bugs, especially the high profile ones BUT most likely will not fix the freezing. they had a chance to fix the freezing for F3 but they didn't. now, we have freezing for FNV. same game engine, same code. if they can't figure out what's wrong in 2 years, the likelihood of them finding a solution now....well, i guess we'll find out.
