Finally got into the Strip after thirty or so hours of playing, so I step into Gammorah, and do some gambling, start a quest. I walk out, and the load finishes, I hear music, but just a black screen. Wtf!

I have the same problem. If you restart a couple times it'll work but you'll run the risk of it doing it again if you do too much on the Strip.
