Im on 8hrs56mins of playtime on hardcoe mode.Im by the Colorado Gas&Service Station , I have the wild wasteland trait on I see a guitar on a tree stump, i sit on it. A guy in a sherrif's duster and hat comes around from a billboard named " The Lonesome Drifter" I talk to him about how his dad left him and his mom ,so when he was old enough he was going out looking for him, I convince him his dad is dead and he asks if anyone around here is looking for a guy who can play guitar, my only speech option was no. So we part ways, I notice hes got a 44 mag on his hip which i wanted so i smashed his face in with my rebar club (the club is a cool idea obsidian, very- fallout like feel). Its prompts me by saying I failed the quest called "Talent Pool" I think to myself damnit and go to my menu and load up my last autosave....

It tells me "the save game file relics downloadable content that is no longer available, the content will be missing from the game, Continue?" Confused, I press yes and then it tells me the storage device the held the saves is no longer available/isnt there/doesnt work, and its there it works i check on Halo Reach, Mw2, all my loads work hardrive is fine so this is a FO:NV thing.

I will not start another game unitl Obsidian patches this bolony, if they dont within about 3 days ill just return the game. I realize that there are multiple threads that have similar subjects but, maybe if they see multiple threads they might start looking for solutions faster? I know they sticked a comment about fixing patches, it might not be for this problem might be for enemies falling through world or gun glitches, just started this one in hopes they recognize there faults and work quickly to come up with a fix. Lets hope Obisidian picked the "jury rigger" perk and have 100 repair skill for this one.

You could have saved yourself some time by reading around the forums. I'd say at least once or twice per hour someone comes in with the same story (my time was around 9am this morning, others beat me to it as well). Bethesda just recently put out some "tips" for people experiencing this issue. They said, revert to an old save. What does that mean? Well, it means we are SOL right now. If a patch comes out it might be salvageable but it's not looking pretty. Don't expect anything tonight though, people have been waiting all day for news.
