Night Kin

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 3:21 am

I read in the NMA forums that their will be 3 classes.

Spoiler
regular Nightkin, Night kin snipers, night kin masters

Night kins have snipers, this will be quite a scare fighting these mutants (unless you have ED-E). Would love to see some nice sniper fights against these guy/girls.

I'm wondering how common they will be.

Will they get crit hit bonuses for hitting us in stealth?

I'm hoping they'll be a nice once in awhile encounters like deathclaws.

Also wonder how Lily will react to you killing a hostile one or any mutants for that matter.

Are they really too blue?

Boone and Ed-E seem to be the best fit for this kind of combat.

They won't appear on your compass so they will make great 'crap your pants' moments in first person view.

They look badass, especially with those stop sign bracers.

Actually I think they should be a little transparent and a miore grayish color but the blue is fine too.

Yeah I've seen some gameplay of them doing that. It looks unpleasant.

In the video I saw the guy playing was in some sort of utility tunnel, and it was dark. Most of the Nightkin were using melee in there, and they just kept jumping him with bits of rebar and stuff lol. He died. Multiple times.

I think for sniper characters they won't be much of a problem, but if said sniper is cornered with several NK chargeing at him/her with melee weapons, they may be in trouble.

I thought Crimson Dragoons were a walk in the park and I bet these fools will fare no better than they did.

Well, i love the nigthkin, it's great to see them returning. The player should not be the only one to be able to use stealth boys since there so useful in the wastes.
I just hope they are a little less common, apart from the mission where raul is abducted, becuase they will be a difficult enemy, especially at lower levels.

I hope the nightkin prove to be extremely formidable adversaries as fallout 3 super mutants aside from Overlords weren't extremely difficult to bring down.
