i am at the part where you have to get rid of the nightkin in the basemant at the repconn headquarters. when i went to talk to davidson i said i would help get the stealthboys then i unlocked the door to where harland was and i offered to help find his friend. i couldn't find the stealthboys and i was getting impatient so i killed davidson and i killed all the other nightkins then i went searching around and found harland's friend and told him the bad news. when harland let me look around his area i couldn't find anything but a computer that talked about the shipment of stealthboys. i figured since i killed all the nightkin i beat it but when i went to talk to jason i couldn't tell him i get rid of them and the only option i had was "i'm still working on it".
i think im stuck and i don't know how to fix things.
what can i do? i don't want to start the game over.

There is a sligth chance that you might missed one of the Nightkin at the basemant since they are cloaked try to find him if not, it's a glitch and might need to start this quest again or reload from a previous save.


Gotta try to make regular manual saves, do not rely on autosaving.

Spoilers-

I believe this is the part where you have the travel outside of town unto the cave; kill about 10 or so Nightskin and you will recover a partially broken stealboy which will lead you on other quests. Believe it was on a nightskins dead body that was already on the ground; towards the back of the cave, try not to swim through water; better to flank the crowd.

Nope, the stuff that you mention is part of a total different quest in a very far away place, in a cave and those are NIGHTSTALKERS.
