I already pre ordered the LTD EDT from Gamestop, and I was wondering if it is possible to reep in the benefits of multiple pre order bonuses If I went and pre ordered it again from Walmart.

Would I be able to have both the Caravan and Classic pack with the same character/saved game, or would I only be able to use one pre character?

Now I did find this but I still just want to make sure its possible.

P.S. I would sell the extra copy of the game and keep the bonus.

You would get both. You punch in the code somewhere (either website or an area on the disc, such as the "downloadable content" section), and the items will appear in your inventory, similar to how you receive the radio transmissions whenever you buy the DLCs for Fallout 3.

The redeemable once thing just means that once you use up the code it can only work for your game and only for your user (on PSN, Xbox Marketplace, or Steam). However all characters you make in any playthroughs will have the items.

*works at Best Buy* XDD I have NOT seen the preorder boxes/slips for Fallout: New Vegas.

Is it only for specific stores like Walmart and Gamestop? O.o

I heard a guy saying that he was going to pre-order at every place with a bonus and then return the copies the next day or something after he's used all the codes. (Although its not like the retailer would ask for the codes back or something, I doubt they even care very much about Fallout New Vegas pre-order codes or getting them back for that matter.)

I won't be going through all that trouble however, I prefer to just stick with the Classic pack I love those Armored Vault Suits and a Weathered 10mm Pistol will be a fun way to start my game. (Plus Gamestop is like a rocks throw from my house its just convenient for me) :tops:

I think a bonus is specific to Best Buy.

and I do believe there are bonuses individualized for each Amazon, Best Buy, Gamestop, and Walmart/Steam.

well the best one to get is the gamestop one so get that

when u get all of the bonus go to gamestop and sell the the one u don't want to keep for 10 dollars less than acutal price putside at gamestop the next day

Gamestop will not be buying back any pc game that uses Steam for verification. Return only with unopend box and receipt.

I've pre-ordered from GameStop, but I'm not really interested in having any "boost" off the bat with the Classic Pack items. I'd rather play through and obtain things normally.


I might sell the DLC card/code if people are actually looking to buy them after release.

Each pack has armor and a weapon and 2 other things. The armor and weapon from each pack is exclusive, meaning that you can not obtain them normally while playing the game.

Personally, I got my collectors edition from Gamestop... then learned about the pre-orders and much prefer the steam one.... so that means I'll be getting a steam one but will likely gift it to my brother as long as he gives me the pre-order code.... LOL
