Screw DLCs, make bugfixes!

I wish it wasn't as glitchy when it came out.
Was? It is glitchy as hell.

No one (from devs) really cares about bugs. Nexus is full of bugfix mods, there are huge community bugfix compilation, and no one cares about embedding them to official patch.

Last patch (1.3) is minor and questionable rebalancing, which can be made by any modder in 30 minutes. Previous was just DLC comportability.

It was 4 months (since 14 December 2010) without major bugfix patch release. And still nothing heard about it.

We have $50 game with $40 DLCs with worse support than $10 indie games have. Regional cutted versions (with full price and no support at all) included.

They're working on both.
If you have a design artist who makes textures and models how is he going to know how to fix a quest bug?
Assigning the right people on the right project is important.
How would canceling out the DLC's and only work on bugs and glitches help?

More people = better result?
Not if the extra people don't know "how" to fix bugs but work in different areas of game designing.

It's like asking a mailman to do a presentation for a company interested in financing the postal service.
The mailman might be taught how but he still won't be any good at it.
Better to assign someone who's done these presentations before, who do not have stage fright and got a good charismatic effect on people.

I dont think the bugs are ever going to go away. I still get random freezes and a brand new type of freeze (total black screen instead of loadscreens).

I wouldn't be surprised if one of the reasons Bethesda is still allocating budget to bug fixes is because they're releasing DLC for the game (thus, extending its lifespan). Also, what Gabriel said.

Judjing by result - no.

The DLC's are coming out in one month after another, HH being one week away, and we just received a patch which fixed a lot of things so yes, they are.

I had one freeze after playing for about 13 hours after the new patch, so it seems like they've been doing alright. Game seems smoother, load times WAY WAY down, without the need to refresh the cache at all from what I can tell. Well done guys. Also, super super happy they fixed the strip glitch that required you to wear the old cowboy hat. Had to pretend I needed my "Vegas Attire" to enter every time before that fix.
