I came up with this idea a long time ago and i thought it would fit well in new vegas.

I call it, the Slot-Machine Gun. Its an idea for a buildable weapon. made out of components from a slot machine. Its ammo would be casino tokens. my idea for parts

slot component
slot machine lever
coin feeder
coind dropper (barrel of gun)

just an idea. feel free to improve on it or critizice. or just agree.

The schematic weapons of Fallout 3, were fairly out of place when it comes to Fallout. I hope that FO:NV drops the whole "make your own weapon concept"

I kind of like your idea though, coltking, I would like to VATS an angry super mutant in the face with casino tokens. That would be epic, and if his head explodes in amazement then it's win.

I am thinking that in FO:NV poker chips are going to be the currency so shooting your money around wouldn't be practical ... just my theory though.

And yet, in Fallout 3, they used bottlecaps... and some genius thought 'HEY! Lets blow up our money to kill people!'

Never underestimate what -can- and -will- be used as improvised munitions.
