Movement is real painful (choppy)

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 7:22 pm

My problem is the movement. It skips every few steps.

I've tried the patch, the shadow fix, updating and rollback of video drivers, the clamp and ipref changes, the downloaded *.dll from that New Vegas website, and etc.

Nothing I've found so far fixes it. The game otherwise, runs smoothly and quickly, even at high settings - it's just the movement makes the game very difficult to play.

The following is from DxDiag:

There's a download at Fallout NV Nexus
Go here:

http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34778

then download the file.

Take the file and place it in your Fallout New Vegas folder.

Go into the launcher, and if the launcher resets your video settings, you will know it worked. You should now get about 50 - 80% better performance/less choppiness.

Yes, I've tried that *.dll file from the New Vegas. Maybe it's better, but not by a noticable amount that I can see.

if you trust a random stranger who tell you to put files on your cpu and is soo helpfull to offer you the link to the file......

Do i really need to say anything........

Dont put up for this duct tape and balin wire fixes these people are offering.

You invite virus and worse.

Hold this game maker accountable for charging you full price for an mod of a game engine that shouldent have these kind of problems.

Tell them this kind of treatment of fans and gamers is wrong!

Tell them to offer a quality product.
