Freezing with Increasing Frequency!

First, I'd like to say that I love New Vegas. That being said, I find it harder and harder to play because the game freezes more and more every time I play it. I never had a problem with freezing in the beginning of the game, but after some time it began freezing every so often. It wasn't really bad until I got to Freeside. At Mick & Ralph's store, the game froze every time I talked to Mick. EVERY time! Eventually I just gave up and left the store, but after that, the game froze more and more. It froze three times in the last hour and ten minutes.

Is anyone else having similar problems. What should I do about it?

it isn't the more you level up, but rather the bigger your file gets. to OP, most likely you may have done a side quest that either related to Mick or somehow involved him, and now he can't be accessed. you may have to try loading a previous save, or start a new game altogether.

I know, it svcks. don't blame me, blame Bethesda for the engine and putting it on the shelves in this state, and Obsidian for using it (the engine)and allowing it to happen(store shelves).
