Can't find new patch

Post » Wed Mar 16, 2011 5:02 am

Where is this new patch that has supposedly "gone live" for the consoles?

I've been checking my XBox every day and there is no prompted update for F:NV.

I cannot load any of my saved files. I always get the "downloadable content not available" error. The game is completely unplayable for me.

WTF?

Seriously, I am ready to take this game back to the store.

Thanks, Bethesda, for a completely frustrating gaming experience.

No, the one reported to be up for the consoles as reported http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?showtopic=1125221&st=0 by Jason Bergman, "senior producer".

Senior producer of what, making sandwiches?

I'm definetely sure he made a mistake with that post. He should have left 360 out, as there isn't one yet. 1.01 is out for PC and PS3 only. It does cause a lot of confusion. If theres news on a patch, it will probably appear on the sticked threads.

That patch is out, you should get an update prompt when the disc starts loading (while connected to xbox live)

Iv'e heard if your cache is full then the update prompt doe's not appear, i'm not entirely sure though.

So the first patch contained the 200 fixes?

If he made a mistake, then it should be posted in the stickied thread I referenced, right?

It's not, which makes the whole situation even more frustrating.

And somebody correct me if I'm wrong -- I haven't seen a word of apology, either.

My bad, I read it wrong. The first patch contained the 200 fixes explained in the thread which has been released. The only thing that confused me was he included the save bug patch information in the same thread, so I assumed it was available for the 360.

apparently yes.

The PC version had 2 patches, one was for saved games bug, there isnt one for console version's yet.

I still don't want to risk even playing the game just yet. It would be pointless.

I'm starting to feel like that, my game crashes if i go near or attempt to find a route to access the entire western part of the world map, basically im stuck with half a game.

And you wonder why there are so many threads. Because it isn't acceptable. I didn't pay £40 to look at the front and back of the cover art. Which I'm doing right now. All we can do is wait.

There was a patch for 360, but it was a week or so after launch. Nothing since. No fixes to the gamebreakers, just to the exploits.
