I can save plugins and reload them inside of the geck, however, if I try to view them in Explorer, or load them in the FNV launcher, they are not there. What the hay?

If you are running Vista or Windows 7 you have to run the Geck in Administrative Mode. Goto where you should have saved it and look for something called Compatibility Files near the top.
