The Divide : Fallout: New Vegas

At the end of Dead Money, there's a lot of talk about the Divide and the two couriers. What are your thoughts/ideas about it?

I suspect it may lead to adventures of chasing the Courier who set you up for the MQ job.

I was confused though, edge of the world... No idea where that is. I am guessing the other guy is enclave or something due to him having an old world flag, I think only the enclave woul still have them, dont see anyone else with them.

Yeah, and iirc he is linked to enclave. But hee isnt a courier is he ?

He wasn't Enclave as far as I know. As for whether or not he's a courier, he could be; we don't really know what Obsidian has planned for him now (if anything).

Woooo burning man, *chants burning man* oh wait that guy, not the festival... Yeah that would be ok I suppose.
I think hes enclave due to on his back he has thier flag. w/e its got to be him anyway, due to the woman saying he had the flag on his back, which he dose,, sewn into his jacket.

Unless Obsidian changes his appearance, Ulysses looks a little young to be true Enclave, maybe a descendant like Arcade, so he's instilled with pride for America.

remember the canyon wreckage (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Canyon_Wreckage) ithas loads of grafiti on it about our courier and its blocking off an area that divides vegas from the west, this could be the great divide. also the other courier could have became foes at new reno (which our character has been to)

I don't think it is definitive that our character has been to New Reno. There are other conversation options that do not mention being to Reno at all, if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, but doesn't the fact that it's an option mean he has been to new reno? I've always thought of the dialogue options as things you are thinking about saying, you just choose the thought you decide to express.

There are so many options in the series that break that logic. So many are so drastically different that it just doesn't make sense. Like Fisto: You can express how disgusted and appalled you are by "Please assume the position", or express your desire to submit. They aren't what is in the character's head, they are just choices you have to pick based on what kind of character you are playing.

have you located the "northern passage"\
if not it n n/e of the vegas area
when i seen this i knew it has to be for a future dlc... check it out if you havnt

No, the Great Divide is the Grand Canyon.

Cant be anymore hellish than the town around the madre.
Anyway why is it people think its the couriers fighting against eachother ? I remember hearing fighting under an old world flag. So I am guessing maybe the enclave are trying for a power grab ? Or maybe the chinese are back ?
I just cant see us fighting ulysses (cant spell or remember his name) when he was going to be in the game, as a companion. (He was going to be a companion right ?)

And we know who else is in the canyon. About time we saw the burned man... Probablly looks like a ghoul now. And is probabally pissed at caeser.
