At a certain point in the game when I try and trade with a travelling merchant the game freezes any ideas what’s wrong and are they fixing the problems?

This glitch started happend for me ,when I was arround level 18.
It had happend the last 3 times,with two differents Traders.The game frezze
when I try to leave VATS.
