The terminal side of the barter screen won't scroll or highlight any of the items. I can't imagine I'm the only one having this problem, but I couldn't find anything on search. Is there something I can do about this?

I had the same issue. Try moving the mouse over the column you want to use, then move it away and use the up/down arrow keys. That worked for me.
