Since i installed and completed Dead money i've had afew instances where small death claws spawn out of no where and attack me. And it seems i can take all the life they have and cant kill them, only way ive manged to stay alive is because i had a companion who could finish it off or ran into a faction to help kill it. Just curious if other have had the same issue or if its just me....

P.s. nothing wrong with random death claws, just a pain to kill lol.

I haven't played outside of the Dead Money DLC since finishing it today but given the level increase these Deathclaws are a welcome addition IMO.

Huh. I've had the opposite happen to me. It's almost like they died out in my game. Where did this happen (or places if multiple)?

So far its happened infront of the BOS safe house as well as The NCR Ranger safe house. And its only been 1 Death Claw and it happens to be alittle different in color more of a tan/gold color.

Hmm. I'll make a new dude and see what happens. I hope it is more of something that is supposed to happen as opposed to something that is not (like a glitch). I'll keep those places in mind when traveling.

This could be true. Perhaps the Deathclaws are just respawning close enough to those areas that they're a constant nuisance? Dunno, but I am hoping this is more than just an unfortunate "Killed the enemy too close the area and now it's a threat there whenever it respawns" kind of thing.

I dont think thats whats happening because as i've said before the death claws are smaller and a slightly different color, and lol they dont die unless and NPC or Companion kill them for me. I just waste bullet after bullet of them and they dont die. I mean its not that big of a deal, i was just curious to see if anyone else had this happening to them.

Had a thought, could it be a Wild Wasteland encounter malfuctioning?

I had a account with exact same name a looong time ago.

I Fast-traveled to the Mole Rat Farm to harvest some Brahmin meat for food....there is a mad cow there that kills the mole rats and a ranch not far away with three more....and all of a sudden I take a hit. I turn around and there is a "Young Deathclaw" trying to eat me. I backed up and dropped him with a Police Revolver...never had a Deathclaw show up in the Vegas ruins before. Then the cow comes galloping around the corner and I plugged it too. Came back later and it re-spawned and got atomized by ED-E, hopefully that will keep it from coming back.
