PC require steam?

Just out of curiousity.... I know that it was done with Empire: Total War where your retail copy was applied to your Steam account. Anyone know if that's going to happen or be the case with FO:NV?

Yup. It was confirmed months ago.

Game's better for it anyways. GFWL is made of fail and AIDS, and SecuROM just makes everyone who uses it want to club seals or something evil like that. New Vegas has neither such disease.

Yes, New Vegas will use Steamworks, and thus have to be registered with Steam.

Steam is much better, in FO3 I forgot to log into GFWL at the start and missed out on all the achievements and had to start again. Steam needs a login before you can start the game and it loads much faster than the slow GFWL updates.

I'm liking it more and more then! As bad as Steam is sometimes...... it really is a good system and makes things easier. I like that I can install and pack the CD away in the collectors edition box and not have to touch it ever again!
