360 Asia Region Release?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 8:45 am

Hey all, maybe it's a bug or an oversight, but this DLC is being promoted in the Asia region marketplace, but won't let you actually buy it saying 'games region does not match console." If it's not available to purchase, why are you promoting it here? For the record I live in Taiwan, have an Asian console and Taiwan account, so no trickery.

I have to assume the wrong version was uploaded to the server, hence the error message. As I've said many times, love Bethesda and their games, just keep getting screwed by similar DLC and patch issues in this region.

Any idea when it will really launch here?

Totally agreed with you. We have all been having this problem for a long time now and longing for a fix...

i sincerely hope Bethesha could look into this case for us...as a big fallout fan i enjoyed every fallout3 dlc so far and just hoping to have the same experience in new vegas, waiting is not a problem at all but i just want to make sure someone is acknowledging the problem...

thanks alot

Lou

The same thing is happening to me. I live in Asia, have an Asian Xbox360, have an Asian copy of the game and am using an Asian account....and I still get the same message.

It would be nice if you guys could at least tell us why this error message keeps coming up for those of us living in Asia. Is the Asian version of the DLC really not out yet?

I'm assuming that since this is Bethesda's official site that someone at the company monitors the forums. If this is simply a matter of "we can't download the DLC now, but if we were to wait a while......", then I would have no problem waiting. But it would be nice to hear from an actual Bethesda employee to let us know what is going on or what we should do.

I know, it's really frustrating. They obviously uploaded the US version on the Asian marketplace and haven't even noticed no one has downloaded it yet. I emailed them and Microsoft Taiwan the day I made this thread, no response from either yet. Everyone must be on vacation or something. All we want to do is give them money and they can't be bothered. Amazing.

Well, it looks like Bethesda got everything worked out. I just downloaded Dead Money from my Hong Kong account without any problems at all. I don't know what the actual problem was or who fixed it, but I'm going to give all the credit to Gstaff!

Thanks again Gstaff!
