Yep, the forums are now located on the Bethesda Softworks official site.

The game will get more publicity here, and the people who struggle in it will find support here easier.

It is sad to see the old forums go.

It's great that the forums for CoC are here now as I bought the game back in the day mainly due to Bethesda's name on the box. I remember looking on the forums for something related to CoC but was dissapointed when nothing came up. I still need to finish the game and if I have problems I'll be sure to come here and look for tips. Love the game and Lovecraft was a genius in so many ways. Since playing CoC I've expanded my Lovecraft collection and he's now one of my favorite authors.

Sorry, we're doing some revamping with the forums and we wanted to bring it in with our other games. We did what we could to transfer as much of the discussion to this forum.

It's a shame to lose a few old things but - wow - nice one Bethesda/GStaff! I have to say it seems quite rare for a publisher to make any attempt to salvage the dwindling communities that surround much loved but oft-forgotten classics like CoC. Good on' yer

No need to say sorry. I think it's a good move, as I mentioned above, it helps tie in the game to Bethesda rather than the now-liquidated Headfirst. By moving the forums here, it does show that Bethesda DOES care about the game.

Is the www.callofcthulhu.com domain owned by Bethesda? If so, how long will it stay up for?

Raveness, Silly Arab (I think that was his name?), Sonofamortician have all sadly passed on from the forums. I don't see them around very often. It is kind of disheartening to see that the forum is now a lot less of the "DCOTE" community it used to be, and now remains as a support forum on Bethesdas site.

And I'm here, man (I was on Cthulhu forums since the brginning of 2009... and I'm an active user )
