I don't want to bring you down but i think this is highly unlikely for 2 reasons.

1. this article is rather confusingly written with bad english and it's not really clear what exactly it is saying. There are no sources quoted. It starts talking about the WOW gold bankruptcy and then moves on to talk about Call of Cthulu.... doesn't make sense. There would be other recent stories in the Gaming Press if there was some substance to this.

2. Headfirst Productions went bust in 2005 after Bethseda quibbled with them over money; Unfortunately the high production costs sunk the company while they were fighting for their monies from Bethseda. It seems like this is a new trend with companies; they get smaller developers to make their products and then don't pay them. The developers go under and they walk away with the profits and the product.
I think this is what Activision did recently with COD MW2 when they refused to pay the bonuses to Infinity Ward....

anyway a little of topic but it's all relevant.

I hope someone would pick up the pieces of this franchise but alas I think it won't happen. . .

I've spoken to a few ex developers. It's old news sadly and it won't happen unless Bethesda chooses to fund it.

Hello, first post here. I've played through Dark Corners once already, and right now I'm going through it a second time, it is truly one of the most immersive and atmospheric games ever created. Since I'm a member to other forums, I'd figure I should join the Cthulhu forum, and when I saw this I had to register. But when I clicked on the link.... it failed to connect. Either the OP posted bs or the server is down... :/ And like others have said, unless Beth funds it, I don't see it happening (Well, Steam, maybe...)
