I never bought Point Lookout, so if anybody cared to explain the estimate size to me that would be greatly appreciated.

It was about 1/4 the size of FO3's main map, and it had about 40 locations. Quite a few quests as well.
Pretty good for a $10 DLC.

If Honest Hearts can match or surpass that, it will be impressive, and maybe people will stop complaining.

Bigger than Point Lookout. I thought it was too small and the locations were too minor or small.

A room about the size of the novac hotel room, with pretty pictures on the walls that make it 'look' bigger...

I wouldn't be surprised if these were true.

Looking at the trailer it looks like there will be plenty of solid (in game that is) canyon walls to hem you in. Invisible walls really get my goat. Even more so since NV came out.

looks about as big as the area from North exit to Jacobstown I recon. With caves and such that will make it a bit bigger.

I'd say 1 third of the size of the Mojave.

That would be pretty huge. I'm not sure if I am really to raise my expectations that high, but it would be nice.

I'm thinking close to point lookout that would seem like a good size and leave plenty of room to come back and explore, I though DM was pretty good sized for the survival horror vibe that they were going for so I doubt it would be a small map like the pitt was.

Yeah I don't think Obsidian is out to make [censored] DLC which feels like a modded add-on and nothing more. In terms of actual size though, I think one thing we need to keep in mind is that pure map size means nothing. If it is a huge map half the size of the Mojave, but with nothing but repeated textures and copied and pasted terrain with generic enemies populating the area, that would be incredibly disappointing despite the "size". But if it is an open wide area of even 1/6th of the Mojave, but is packed with unique content and good area design mixed with optional events and quest hooks, that would be very substantial and interesting.

I would love to see something like point lookout or bigger. Not sure if that is realistic, but I sure do want it!

Point Lookout was a very good sized DLC. It's almost a shame that most of it was swamp filled with bulletproof inbred mutants.

Well based on DM I doubt we'd getjust a small area copied multiple times just to make the dlc bigger it just doesn't seem like they'd just phone it in, I think we'll be looking at pretty much everything being new and not just transplanted from the mojave. I"m wondering how much is going to be wide open versus the winding canyons it seems like gameplay wise they'd be able to do some new things with it like enemies attacking from above or trying to force you into a dead end so you'd have to fight your way out, it seems like the canyons would make great ambush or hit and run areas, and I think we'll see a fair share of locations caves and tribal camps seem likely and the trailers shows what looks like an old park ranger post so a few areas like thay would seem appropriate, then theres the question of where all those 1911's came from it seems like a large weapon cache or a few small ones were scattered in Zion so it would make sensd for them to come from nearby it would also explain the SLCPD vest Graham has.

While a dlc that big would be pretty awsome I doubt we'll get 30 dollars of dlc for 10, the only way I see and area that big would be if the locations were very spread I just don't see them doing something like the shivering ilse's since that took what 6 months to make they've gone from the expansion model of one maybe 2 big releases to several smaller releases paced much more rapidly.

Yes but I said Shivering Isle size because that's the size I wish it was. I doubt we'll ever see a dlc that size again.
