Hey all, so I am pretty interested in this game, however I am troubled by the different pre-order bonus packs.

The thing that bothers me the most is the skins and unlockable bosses/levels...it would be cool to have alternate skins, so what's the deal, I either pre-order from one of the places offering "one" of the skins to get "one"....or none at all? I mean wouldn't it be a better idea to offer different weapon/armor packs and leave extra skins and extra levels/bosses for DLC? I mean I am interested enough to consider DLC right off the hop, but this sortof setup kindof has me worried.

Would it be possible to get some more official details regarding this, and regarding this decision in general? I usually always pre-order from EB games, as my friend works there, it seems lame that I might have to pre-order from somewhere else simply because I may want that pre-order bonus pack more.

i agree that im not really a fan of adding different bonus items at different places. makes it impossible to get everything unless you preorder multiple copies from multiple places then just never pic up the extras. i liek preorder bonus's but there should only be oen set that you get from any place that gives a bonus.

I honestly hate the thought, and i love how Gamestops is SO drastically different. As in other pre-orders from Amazon/Walmart (didnt see one for best buy) get a level and a boss, a skin, and a weapon. Gamestop gets armor set for E'lara and Caddoc + weapon set for both (LS for E'lara >.> dunno why...)

Yeah, I don't like it either. I want all the packs, but I'm not going to pe-order the game 4 times for that. LA Noire is another game with lots of different pre-order bonuses, but at least they already announced they will be released as DLC later on. Hopefully Hunted (and Brink) will follow the same route.

I agree on this. I don't like content based on where I pre-order the game. In my case I only really have the one option because wal-mart is US only and I'am in Canada and the nears Best Buy is 4or5 hours away. It would cost me $60 or more in gas to just get a game. I'am okay with DLC and I'am sure that someone there is thinking about it. I would really like it if... All the pre-order packs went on XBL/PSN so you pre-order the game and get one free and then if you want you can down load the others for $5 each. Would even be nice for Day 1 buys if you put the other pre-orders online at a reduce cost.

Quick question, from what i read so far...there's no way to get ALL the pre-order packs unless you pre-order from all the supplier?

I always preorder from gamestop, so I'm not even sure what I'm getting or if I'll even use it. :wacko:

You are correct res33... But as with most Exclusive content for Pre-order's is only good for just that Pre-order's or Day 1 sales.(once those places have your money they don't care) If the Fan's want it I would bet that after some time you can buy all the others as DLC packs. (well we better be able to... -.-")

Hmmm I'll be pretty disappointed if they didn't release those as down loadable content T_T and would from the devs or mods either eh....

On a related note, the At War with Monsters trailer seems to showcase the Assassin/Demon boss somewhat.

I'm not sure if that means they're in story mode, or if they're being showcased from Crucible, but it was neat to get a peak.

I'm still torn about which preorder bonus to get since my question about the two bosses/levels & Crucible hasn't been answered yet, but I thought the brief video might help some on the edge like me. bliviongate:

so no one from bethesda softworks can chime in on this and maybe enlighten us a little if we are gonna be able to get all the pre-order packs as dlc?

so i decided on the assassin pack and tried to pre order from walmart, proceed to check out and can't find the deliver to store option :\ and i'll have to either pay more for 1 day delivery, meaning i still gotta wait a day b4 playing or wait till the 7th of june to play...yeah i'm not even gonna bother pre-ordering since i want to play on my 360 with friends and the other packs are not what i wanted. guess i'll just wait till the price drop on this game or buy a used copy from gamestop, no point of paying full price if i can't get the pre-order bonus i want

Walmart actually doesn't do pre-orders. So what you could do is go and pick it up on release day, and the pack should be included in the packaging with the manual.

hmm if that is true than i'll just pick it up from wal-mart, but i'll wait till official words get release on this, cause i don't want to go and pay for the game when there's no pre-order pack >.>

well, i read about a Limited Edition....with all preorderpacks...or the packs for caddoc and elora skins....
i think u can buy it the normal way without preorder caus i havent found them by now at internetstors....

The special edition with both bonus packs with bosses/levels is UK-only as far as I'm aware. Sadly.

yeah that's pretty lame guess I will just wait for a used copy.
